Driver requirements

  • 21 years or older
  • Valid Bahamian driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Current vehicle insurance
  • Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
  • Good driving record
  • Professional and friendly customer service
  • Driver responsible for own vehicle, fuel, maintenance and insurance
  • Drivers do not collect cash
  • Customer orders are prepaid

Independent Contractor Status

Monéa Direct™ drivers are independent contractors and are not employees of The Monéa Group of Companies, Shoe Monéa, or any affiliated company. Drivers are responsible for their own taxes, National Insurance Board (NIB) contributions, registrations, licences, insurance, and any other statutory obligations applicable to them. The Monéa Group of Companies does not deduct, collect, remit, or pay NIB contributions on behalf of independent drivers, except where required by applicable law.
